Hey as someone who worked in the Travel business for a bit, yes this is true, it's not just plane tickets. That's why I always told everyone to use different browsers, clear cache / cookies, incognito (when it would still not collect cookies / cache) etc. because Hotels and rentals do this too!

my sister and I were looking at the same international flight last week. I was on my laptop and had been looking at flights a week prior. she was on her phone and had never searched it before. the EXACT same flights were $200 cheaper on her phone 😭

This makes so much sense. My entire family (50+ ppl) just flew to Asheville for a wedding & we all booked the same two flights home. They both canceled & tickets were $1200+ so everyone just stayed another week😭

This is literally just the way it works lol. It’s more so just supply and demand. Of course a flight is going to be expensive on the day of departure. I’m working on my masters in aviation management and I’m taking an entire class on this exact concept
