My biggest pet peeve is adjusting the glasses and the pt immediately sliding them up and down their nose to tell me it’s loose. Like, ma’am. Let them sit. Obviously they are going to slide if you push them up and down 🙄

I e started asking all of my patients if they want to take a pic of the glasses they chose so they can show their partner and/or kids, friends, etc… but really it’s because they forget what they chose and will come back in and say this isn’t what I picked! Guess again! Look at the pic I had you take!

I had a patient today who was scheduled for a diabetic exam and then when I asked about her diabetes, she told me she was trying to get the doctors to remove that from her chart but her A1C was high a few months ago 😬
