Cloud gaming will never be the same as having your own pc. Because of compression the data sent to you is always less than what is required to get the exact picture generated at where the actuall GPU is. So there is a downgrade in graphics that is inevitable and a loss in quality of graphics. So the idea that's it the same can never be true . There is a noticeable loss in quality.

Horrible take. The argument is that it is economically efficient and therefore will be used more, not that its better. It is in fact more economically efficient right now for gamers.

The most popular comp games (Fortnite, CS, LoL, Valo, etc.) account for a large majority of the gaming industry's revenue and playtime and the latency penalty of cloud gaming would just straight up make you lose more fights and perform worse Gamers who spend money on HE/TMR keyboards, 8k polling mice and controllers, and high refresh rate displays will never consider playing on cloud gaming

I dont have a powerful pc and had to use geforce now and it is more expensive than owning a pc bc you only get 100 hours a month and to get more hours you have to pay more which is a lot of bs not to mention the latency and not being able to mod you games

cloud gaming is good but can't compare to own a pc like seriously if you have money you should buy your own pc not rent. is feel more freedom to use too, i use a lot of cloud gaming waiting for someone to done playing just took to long

I pay for boosteroid for my wife, mostly coz my gpu died and im saving up for a new one, however i may keep it till paraec doesnt release host version for linux coz wife likes to play games on macbook in bed and moonshone and sunshine suck ass for whatever reason
