Someone came into my (dog friendly) work with an adorable dog and I asked if I could say hi before I noticed the collar said service dog. Thankfully she was still in training and off duty, so I got to give her a treat! She couldn’t give less of a wag about me! Such a good pup working hard even off duty!

When I was 14, we had service dogs come into an assembly at school. I was charity representative and our school was supporting them. There were two dogs on stage, one was for people with heart problems and one was for anxiety and panic attacks. I went up to make a short speech and both dogs started alerting at me. The handlers came up to me at the end and were like… maybe you should get your heart checked. I did and doctors said I was all fine. I’m now 24 and diagnosed with a heart problem. The dog knew 10 years before the doctors did.
