I completely agree with this (from experience) however it can be drastically difficult to motivate yourself to do those basic hardware things without some help. I got that helping form of a small dose of daily medicine from the doctor and was almost immediately able to do the things he points out - life changer !

As a therapist, I recommend many of the things he said. Nutrition, water, outside, sun, positive media, sleep, exercise, etc. AND- we work on mental health at the same time.
