Maya Angelou was a spectacular woman, wise, compassionate and resilient. still i rise was one of the first poems that resenated with me that i still think about today. rise above the worlds bads, others negative impacts towards you and even your own hurtful things you say to yourself. regardless of the issues, still you rise.
