3 holidays a year beautiful home never had holidays abroad as a child parents couldn’t afford it but they always told us live life to the full it’s gone in the blink of an eye so do what makes you happy

My granddaughter works & not bad pay. She is always off somewhere, only last week popped to Ibiza for 2 days to see her friends yet the week before she was in Rome. She's what you call savvy works the dates out & money out. She's living the best life.

Thirty years ago my husband and I travelled twice to the US one year. My lawyer boss asked me how I could afford such holidays and had I won the lottery. We were a young couple with no kids. He had two privately educated kids, a stay-at-home wife and a huge London townhouse. To this day I’m furious at his downright rudeness but more furious with myself for not putting him in his place. No-one has a right to question another’s spending choices.

I go away five times a year … my bank balance is awful 🤣 I just don’t go out drinking every weekend etc and work hard ! I get asked the same constantly !

You don’t need to justify yourself to anyone. I constantly get asked why I don’t go away on holiday. I hate going on holiday but it shouldn’t bother anyone else that I hate going on holiday
