Muna :
For a long time, I thought I was the only one asking this question.
All I ever wanted was a simple life to love someone and be loved. I never chased money, status, or material things. Kindness, loyalty, and genuine love were enough for me.
Sadly, some people mistake kindness for weakness. Instead of appreciating someone who truly loves them, they take that love for granted. They begin to think you stay because you have no other options, and their ego grows because of it.
I've experienced that myself. People questioned why I was with them because we came from different backgrounds and lived different lifestyles. The truth is, I chose them out of love, not because I had no better options.
I know my worth. In many aspects of life education, financial stability, emotional maturity, and spirituality I have a lot to offer. Love was my choice, not my limitation.
So maybe that's why people like us often end up alone. Not because we're asking for too much, but because genuine love and kindness are sometimes given to people who don't know how to value them.
I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one who's wondered about this.
