I think it’s less about the hairline and more about the length. Balding looks better with shorter hair on sides and a little length on top, not extremely long on top.

I think if it was shorter it would seem thicker, it seems very wispy. Maybe a good barber can give you tips on cuts while you’re on your hair growth journey. But it’s your hair on your head, so you do you!
