Well, as you may know, there is a little bit of a difference between Catholic and Roman Catholic which took identity after the great schism of 1054 the early Creeds say I believe in the holy Catholic Church referring to the body of believers around the world. and the apocryphal books have been subjective dispute for many centuries before the Reformation. The protestant Bibles, Old Testament lines up with the Jewish. TANAKH. And the text used to translate the Protestant New Testament translations Was the Greek Textus Receptus from Antioch where it’s more Orthodox.
