I’m a senior project manager and a senior environmental geologist. My work is certainly not boring, directing everything that happens both scientifically technically all the engineers scientists operators etc, I have to do all the logistics,ake sure that everybody’s in line dealing with staff I do all of the project finances, financial tracking projections and then I also perform the work and it’s super exciting stuff and I get paid like $250,000 a year 80% of the time I work from home. I get to travel all over the United States for work. I live in Alaska and get to go all over remote areas in Alaska. It’s super dope. Nothing about it is boring. It’s still work, but it’s not boring.

I’d agree most don’t understand. The site dictates your job daily activities and the roles and responsibilities in place should be set to your teams strengths. However, we should be cross training the APM’s. Most don’t understand a PM is in meetings relating information and delegating and keeping all on tasks. We also have to look at the schedules and send narratives and deal with the customers and get projections in. There’s so much to this and can’t explain it all in a tik tok.
