@cbsnews: France has opened an investigation after a Paraguayan senator made racist remarks about soccer star Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe helped France beat Paraguay in the World Cup on Saturday. Sen. Celeste Amarilla shared several disparaging posts about the French team captain social media. “That brute never even learnt to write. Instead of breast milk, he sucked on coconuts, and the most educated creatures he ever listened to were chimpanzees," she wrote in part. Mbappe responded with his own statement, prompting Amarilla to share her own long statement.
