I use to just walk into Panera and walk up to the shelf where they would place all the pick up orders and I would just pick a random bag and walk out. I didn’t know what I was getting but when ur starving anything is appetizing. Also in DC where I was homeless they had day shelters that you could go to and they always offered lunch.

Omg I used to do that as well with all the pizza places in my area. Make a massive order, never pick it up and then go two hours later and ask if they had anything left over.

Our Salvation Army gives lunch daily but its always so spicy and my ulcerative colitis can’t handle it like why don’t they just make plain stuff. I think they get donated a lot of spicy things no one eats, but Panera and Olive Garden do donate to them so they’re good companies to support
