I’m turning into an old person bc I signed a 2 year contract for something the salesman said “12 months” for verbatim but ik they’d come back and say “prove it” so I harrassed the company back with calls, emails, and certified letters to make sure they don’t charge me for anything and yelled at the salesman/tech to not service my property

Most genuine sales people are pretty honest when they say this kind of stuff because if you’re selling a decent amount of volume, you keep a standard and never lower your price but here and there you might do a favor to somebody and say you know what if I’m cracking 30 or 40 days a month I’ll let one or two slide cause you like the person

if you ever start a buisness. Google will call you 30 times a day every day giving one time "discount" offers to make your page more visible on Google, including the i just talked to my manager line. and every time they say they wont be able to honor the price after the call even tho the next shmo will call 30 min later with the same deal
