It’s crazy how, when you’re new to metal and first hear Slipknot, it sounds like the heaviest shit you’ve ever listened to. But once you start exploring other genres and listening to more extreme stuff, going back to Slipknot suddenly feels soft, bland, and kind of boring. Has this happened to anyone else?
