For people who won’t understand: Point Nemo is the most remote location in the world's oceans the spot on Earth that is farthest from any land. It is the most inaccessible place on Earth's surface. The closest humans are sometimes astronauts aboard the International Space Station, which can pass overhead about 400 km (250 miles) above Earth closer than any people on land. It is used as a spacecraft cemetery: retired satellites and space stations are often directed to re-enter the atmosphere and fall into the surrounding ocean because there is virtually no shipping or human activity there. So, the "point" of Point Nemo isn't that it's a destination it's a geographic distinction: it marks the oceanic pole of inaccessibility, the place farthest from any coastline. It was named "Nemo" after Captain Nemo from Jules Verne's novels.
