🤣🤣🤣🤣For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and he will be called Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6, written seven centuries before Jesus. That is God becoming human in the Old Testament, stated plainly. The Hebrew El Gibbor translated Mighty God is used elsewhere in Isaiah 10:21 exclusively of Yahweh himself. A child being born who carries the title Mighty God is not describing an ordinary human prophet. It is describing God entering human existence, which is precisely the incarnation claim. Isaiah 7:14 says the virgin will conceive and bear a son and call him Immanuel. Immanuel means God with us in Hebrew. Not God's messenger with us. Not God's prophet with us. God with us. That is the Old Testament itself naming the coming one as God present among humanity. Micah 5:2 says the ruler coming from Bethlehem has origins from ancient times, from everlasting in Hebrew mimei olam. Eternal origins attributed to a human birth is the Old Testament describing someone who exists before his own birth, which only makes sense if that someone is God entering human form. Zechariah 12:10 has Yahweh speaking in first person saying they will look on me the one they have pierced. God himself saying he would be pierced is a direct statement that God would enter human experience in a way that involves suffering and death. Daniel 7:13-14 describes the Son of Man receiving worship, pelach in Aramaic, a word used exclusively for divine worship throughout Daniel. A human figure receiving divine worship directly from God is Daniel pointing toward one who shares divine identity while appearing in human form. Five separate Old Testament prophecies. One consistent trajectory. God himself coming in human flesh.
