@kathyatthebeach: Everyone talks about the big changes in retirement. For me, it was the little everyday moments that surprised me the most. Not rushing. Listening to my body. Enjoying an ordinary Tuesday. Funny how those little things become some of the biggest gifts. What’s one little thing retirement changed for you? ❤️ #retirement #over55 #retiredlife #nextchapter #Retired
I can’t wait, 18 months and I’ll be there and I’ll come back to your post and let you know 💕

I don’t make big grocery hauls anymore. We buy for a few days at a time and don’t waste as much food

Retired after 48 years in Banking. I do what I want to do when I want to do it. It’s wonderful no more watching the clock.

I thought it would take my body and mind a long time to not wake up automatically at 5 am but surprise it happened the first week. Also I am so surprised at how much I enjoy slow mornings, no chaos, also I am learning to say yes to myself. LIFE is GRAND!!

as a federal employee, worrying when my pension payments will begin, current time frames are 7 to 9months minimum, is scary but the current crazy administration makes me so ready to retire, even if I need to get another job for several months to cover the expenses.

After 40 years of living by the clock, you've finally earned the freedom to let time follow you instead. Retirement is an unfamiliar journey, but I believe it's where peace, joy, and new purpose quietly bloom. Wishing you the most beautiful chapter yet. For me I look forward to a great retirement experience 😊

In retirement, I got a dog! Maybe not a little thing but certainly changed my life for the better. And they go hand in hand: retirement + dog. 💙

9 months in definitely the date/day. I’m still struggling with wanting to feel productive. It’s definitely a work in progress. Working out now, connecting more, and starting to volunteer at something I love.
