Everything is visual now, word of mouth is still very powerful but if you own a business you have to make content to get your name out and get sales or bookings. Now having a personal content creator like that is a little much but it’s just how people are booking now

Filmed a wedding this year where the violinist, and dj had their own content creators filming during the entire day on top of 3 of us, 3 photographers, and 2 actual content creators. It was insane haha

As a wedding photographer, we have to. I literally lose brides because I don’t have enough followers or the algorithm won’t push me to clients if I don’t have engaging reels. None of us vendors want to do it

I’ve been a wedding photographer for 16 years. It’s exhausting on both sides believe me. Social media now has forced us to become content creators if we want literally anyone to see our business. It’s irritating and I don’t blame the planner for hiring someone to do it. I get that it’s jarring and odd watching it, but if you don’t have bts videos you don’t have a ton to post that will be interacted with. I’m tired. Lol

Wedding vendor here! It’s actually very normal and common especially for planners. Because established photographers do not give galleries to vendors for free to promote vendor work

I'm so happy that I have a yard big enough for my wedding on the 18th. we are also doing pot luck. it's gonna be a Celtic inspired shotgun wedding to my husband I've been married to for the last ten years 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's our 13 th anniversary the 18th and we wanted to do something special. we never had a ceremony so we decided it was time 🤣🫶

Hear me out. When I got married in 1996😱 I paid for a nursery (babysitting). Is there a business (babysitting) phones till end of ceremony. Meaning exchange for a buzzer in the event of emergency and take your seat.

Wedding photographer here— we have had someone there to get BTS of us at a few weddings. Any footage they got, we have to do the couple free. Now we just try to get a few BTS videos, but our job is photos for the couple.
