@morgan_rocks_: Our adoption from dcfs failed before it even started. We were prepared to take on a sibling set with an OPEN adoption. It took a turn we didnt expect...so here we are. I’m sorry Morgan. It’s crazy how they need foster parents and adopting parents yet make people go through hoops. My niece and nephew has been in foster care since birth now going on 2 years. They refused for them to come with me. Not because of me but because I am the mother’s sister. 2 different people. I fought so hard and still grieve over it.
