No one should be shamed for any expectations from crazy financial expectations from women to crazy beauty/housework expectations from men. Its a free market but in the end ur dating value will determine whats realistically non-negotiable if the goal is to get married. These muslim expectaions worked a long time ago when women had no working rights, were in one-way polygamous marriages, and forced to rely on a man. If the man wasnt the provider under those old conditions society literally couldnt function. Thats not the case in the US that heavily promotes both genders working and having agency but ppl will figure that out naturally bc reality is brutal(unless u go polygamous lol).
