My view is that it is totally valid and okay to unfollow someone when you find out their political affiliation doesn’t align with yours. Politics has a lot to do with human rights and it is personal. If you make your political views public then you’re choosing to open yourself up to a public response. This is incredibly different to bullying

People take it wayyyy too far. I’ve been registered the same party since I got my license at 17 and I didn’t even know the difference back then. Never changed it because I never vote straight party. Instead of asking me what policies I agree/disagree with, they’d just rip me to shreds.

Bullying is never ok. And I don’t understand people’s obsession to determine a persons worth on who they vote for. I’ve literally never based my decision to follow or unfollow someone based on who they vote for. I chose to follow or not based on if I like their content that they are creating.
