@jodietransplantjourney: The Day I Never Thought Would Come…… Discharge Day!!! 😁 On 11th February 2026, I finally left the hospital after 121 days. What started as waiting for a heart transplant🫀 became a fight for my life. A new heart, ECMO, organ failure, sepsis, a coma, and life-changing amputations. There were moments when my future was uncertain, but somehow I made it through. Walking out wasn’t possible, but leaving was everything. It marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. I left with a new heart, a new perspective, and a determination to make the most of the life I’ve been given. Thank you to every doctor, nurse, therapist, donor family, friend, and family member who helped me get to this day. I’m finally home with my family 🥹🥰 121 days in hospital.
