I was mislead by a pediatrician who pushed formula with my first born. My first born dealt with the most health issues in her toddler time period. The other two were breastfed and they did much much better. I just feel like we don’t get enough support or guidance in earlier days when it comes to breastfeeding. HOWEVER, saying all that, instead of torturing oneself with triple feeding (that’s what I did with my first), formula is great help and moms shouldn’t be shamed for it because not many moms actively choose to formula feed, and it’s always because of so and so reason. Happy mama is what a baby needs!

Breastfeeding and pumping have been the worst experiences of my life. I can never shame a formula feeding mom. I’m just comforted knowing I’m doing the best for my child but god this shit is exhausting.

I think this could have been said in a kinder way. Calling formula “junk food” is too harsh. Every mom knows breast milk is the best option. I breastfed my twin girls for six months, until I no longer had breast milk. Every mother has her own journey, and most of us are already doing our absolute best for our babies. Some moms push themselves to the limit, feeling guilty or exhausted just to provide breast milk,and I don’t think enough people talk about that. At the end of the day, a fed baby is what matters most. Happy mom, happy baby. 🤍

I mean, I fully agree. But as a mom who did everything she could to exclusively breastfeed and her body couldn’t produce enough milk- Hearing this and being said like this, hurts. I never stopped breastfeeding and giving what my body could produce, until they stopped getting milk. But I needed to feed my baby with formula too. I know your intention is to inform, and I find that great. I love your content. Just maybe a smoother approach for the topic wouldn’t hurt that bad for some of us.

What bullshit is this!!! I can’t give breastmilk because my heartmedication I need to take so I gave formula to my now 11 year old and now to my 3 weeks old. My 11 year old plays sports on a high level and almost never Eats sugar or don’t ask for Candy all the time! Stop marking formula-moms like we are the bad moms because we give or childeren formulamilk 😤

my friends daughter griw up with breast milk and she like to eat only sweets and fast food..my daughter was fed on formula and she eats healthly homemade food ..so not true🙂

Glad I heard this today. 5 months breast feeding and really want to stick with it until my baby is 1. People don’t like to hear it but breast milk is superior in every way possible.
