@gabriellekezia: Let's normalize not knowing what your going to do into college immediately, it's ok to be lost and unsure #spelman #spelmancollege #collegeadvice #collegemajors
Hi Spelman sis! This happens a lot. Definitely normal. But explore as much as you can, if I could go back I would’ve never declared my freshman year. BUT I was a political science major…went into Spelman as a bio major😂 science was not my thing. I took an internship on Capitol Hill and fell in love with Ed policy. You never know what experiences lead you to. Here I am almost 8 years out and I’m now a graduate student at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and am still thinking what else is next after this. Focus on building your network because you never know where God will lead you🤍

Im going into Spelman this year as an economics major and I don’t know if that’s the best fit for me but I think I’m just going to stick with it because I genuinely don’t know what else to do

An Economic degree is a great look. You can still do finance or pursue entrepreneurial ventures, even law school. I would also take advantage of opportunities at Emory and GT. Also Spelman will have numerous business internships opportunities so major in getting those opportunities.
