@mattrosenman: People hate change, so rebrands are always met with friction. But @PiratesBooty really struck a nerve with their rebranding, and I see both sides. I’m all for updating the packaging and I think it makes sense. It’s simple, it’s cleaner, it’s brighter. But you can’t nerf all of the personality, and it’s especially risky to update every single brand element at one time. So, here’s a middle ground I came up with. I did this super quickly so it’s far from a completed concept, but what do you think? Would this direction be an improvement over what they came up with?
