😬 just so you know: when you curl or straighten your hair while it’s still wet your hair literally starts to boil from the inside out! 💦 When your hair is wet it’s full of water molecules sitting inside the hair shaft. The second you hit it with a hot tool that water rapidly heats up and turns into steam. That pressure has nowhere to go… so it forces its way out, creating tiny bubbles and cracks inside the strand. It’s called “bubble hair” and the damage is permanentttttt!!!!!! (That’s why your hair can suddenly feel rough, frizzy, weak, or like it won’t hold a style anymore.) ⭐️Here’s what to do INSTEAD: ✨Make sure your hair is completely dry before using any hot tools Always use a heat protectant (or two!) to create a barrier between your hair and the heat ✨Let your heat protectant FULLY dry before going in with a curling iron or flat iron 😁 It may not seem like it makes a difference after one time but after years of damage your hair could get to the point where it wont even hold a curl so if you want to MINIMIZE your split ends, ALWAYS curl or straighten dry hair and ALWAYS use heat protectant!!!
