@.savingthecastle: I only wanted to return the sanding machine. But before that, the castle somehow convinced me to dismantle a staircase, sand the hall, wash royal curtains, clear the corridor, overheat the machine, and install baseboards for what felt like 300 medieval years. On video it looks fast. In real life, every tiny corner had to be measured, cut, adjusted, glued, and emotionally survived. But the best part is that these small details completely changed the room. The floor came back to life, the baseboards made it feel cozy, and the castle won another little battle. One room closer to saving my father’s legacy. Also, please tell me I’m not the only one who thinks sanding old floors is weirdly satisfying. #castle #restoration #renovation #architecture #fyp
