@jaysvisions: One of the biggest mistakes beginner underwater filmmakers make is spending the entire dive worrying about where the camera is pointed. In a kelp forest, everything is moving, the fish, the sea lions, the kelp, and you. That’s why I recommend the Insta360 X5. Shooting in 360° means I can focus on the dive, experience the ocean, and find the best angles later in the edit. Add in incredible stabilization, and it takes so much of the stress out of capturing smooth underwater footage. If I were starting all over again, this would be the first underwater camera I’d buy.
