We are first-generation Chinese immigrants in the United States. We moved to the US back in 2011. We completed both our bachelor’s and master’s degrees here, started our professional careers afterward.Over these years, we have relocated multiple times across the country — from New York to Boston, and later to Los Angeles. Altogether, we have spent fifteen years living in America. However, over the past few years, we gradually realized that the United States was no longer the ideal place for our family’s lifestyle. We share the exact same feelings as you: this was no longer the life we truly wanted. Therefore, last year, just like you, we sold all our properties, including our house and cars, and moved back to China with our five-year-old kid. Since returning home, my husband and I have felt much more peaceful and mentally stable than we ever did in the US. I truly believe your decision to move to China is absolutely wonderful. I sincerely wish you and your family all the happiness and the perfect life you are looking for in China.

Immigrating to mainland China can be a bit difficult. Hong Kong or Macau might be a better option. English is more widely spoken there, especially in Hong Kong, and both are right next to mainland China. Whatever you choose, I wish you all the best and hope everything goes smoothly
