it slows down because when a new phone comes out usually a new update comes out too, which takes time for the phone to adapt to if that makes sense

Yes they purposely make the newer updates work like garbage and the older phones. You have to buy a new one. I didn’t update my 13 for like 2 years and then when I finally did my phone was overheating glitching battery only last in two hours. It was awful so I eventually got the 16

i have an iphone 12 and it has been HORRIBLE lately. It hasn’t been loading my apps properly, my messages take either 30 seconds or 30 minutes to send, and no matter how many things i delete my storage is still too full
