If a man puts in some effort and you act appreciate he feels like he got a small win and it encourages more good behavior. If a man plans a date and you immediately say “yeah but you didn’t do anything else” then he’s not gonna plan more dates. Why do something that will give a negative reaction?

coming from a man who does ALL of the kids laundry, 80% of the dishes, most of the grocery shopping, 90% of cooking dinners, i make all my kids lunches for summer care everyday day, I drop them off everyday, I then work 10+ hours each day, and 95% of the household chores and cleaning. and still i get "lucky" once or twice a month.

Lmfao yeah right. I cook and do dishes everyday. Take trash out and all yard work plus work 12-14hr a day. And STILL GET TOLD U HAVE A HAND

Planning a date night is a win. 🤝 Did he work an 8-hour shift today to provide for the household, fix things around the house, or manage the finances? A relationship is a partnership, it takes two doing their part together, not competing against each other.
