So, actually 🤓, the story goes that every time she was on it, she got cut (the first time was because she’d gripped a sword too tightly, but other times the throne itself cut her, just like with Viserys). Also, in my opinion, getting cut by the throne doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad king or unworthy of the seat (since we can all agree there have been worse rulers than Rhaenyra). So, based on my analysis, I think it just signals that the reign will end badly, like with Viserys, whose rule led to the Dance of the Dragons, or Maegor, who literally died on the throne. As for Rhaenyra, I think it signified that her reign would be very short, which is exactly what happened. (I just want to clarify that this is just my personal take on the throne's cuts!!)
