@yourspiritualbigsis: We tell ourselves its for the good of the gospel, well then why didnt you share it? We tell ourselves these people need to be corrected, why so they think like you do? Or so they have the right doctrine? We tell ourselves we must expose evil, why so that you can get clout for doing it? Or because the content actually was anti-gospel? We make ourselves feel so righteous in our own unrighteousness. We muzzle the conviction of the Spirit that says “this has become about your kingdom, not Mine”. We dont want to hear it, we dont want to feel the conviction, we dont want to be confronted about it, we want to keep mindlessly mass producing what preforms so that we can feel more secure in ourselves. So that we can be put on high, so that we can receive praise, glory, and honor. So that we can become like God, and feel righteous in the pursuit of it. Its easy to post what we know will preform, trust me i am tempted in that way too. I daily have to chose to walk away from the forbidden tree too. “You can become like God” he said, “you wont surely die”… “God will give ear and humble them, he who is enthroned from of old, Selah because they do not change and do not fear God.” Psalm‬ ‭55‬:‭19 “he has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate;” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭52‬ “Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬ Have we lost our fear of the Lord?
