The largest difference is insulating the attic above

I installed 1.5” foam insulation in each panel of my garage door with a 1/2” gap between the metal and the foam panel. I thought it was ugly, so I bought the reflective foil bubble wrap and mounted those on top of the foam with the mounting foam stickers. Discovered the next day the stickers do not adhere to the foam panels, so I used flat pins through each sticker into the foam at an angle. Now it looks quilted, clean, and the garage temp remains within a 13F degree variance from our indoor temp! Prior to insulating our garage reached up to 108F!

I don't hangout in my garage so I don't need this. However please get your garage technician to adjust those springs.

How did you adjust the door? They say you’re supposed to adjust it when you put any weight on it.

What are they reflecting? You should just insulate the door. Those reflecting panels would work better on the outside. You simply insulated the door with a subpar insulation.

I did this at the end of last summer. I immediately noticed my garage was not as cold in the winter and it has been so much cooler this summer!

This type of stuff and things like it, on windows, doors, walls, whatever your need, really DOES cut the interior heat. Then the AC doesn't have to work so hard. I am a believer after trying it....WHY NOT!? (Arizona here!)

There are YouTube videos comparing dozens of different panels. They all absolutely DO work, but some work significantly better. Also check you have insulation above your garage because that’ll make a huge difference too!

I got these from Amazon. It’s cooling the garage until you open the door. I rush out the door and shut it but when you get home the hot car does heat it up. But cools back down overnight. My car/garage stays at 86 degrees when it’s 98 outside in Florida. it’s work the money to me.

Opinion needed. We are on our second freezer because they keep melting and then refreezing. Is it because our garage is getting too hot? Our house is perfectly fine temp wise year round. Even rooms above garage are fine temp wise. But why do we keep losing the freezers?!
