I had been dealing with an issue for several months and my obgyn didn't think it was atrophy and put me through several uncomfortable tests. My endocringologist hears one single word about my issues and goes "oh yeah thats probably atrophy" and contacts a different obgyn to perscribe me it and magically all my issues went away. LIKE GENUNELY WHAT.

im so very happy that mine was the sweetest lady ever and helped me not feel uncomfortable for the first time I had to go in. to the point she made my laugh and the speculum... shot out.. then we really couldnt stop laughing

And THIS was exactly why when my endocrinologist (who was very supportive and qualified to do Pap smears) offered to do it so I wouldn’t have to go to any other doctor who might not be supportive, I accepted in a heartbeat

Mine nervously ranted AT me for at least 5 minutes about how if Ican handle “INTERFACING with my EQUIPMENT” that coconut oil is great for t related dryness. Idk if she was under the impression that we can’t wipe or wash without a mental breakdown but she was talking SO fast I couldn’t tell her that my bottom dysphoria is very minimal and save her 🤣
