I have mix feelings with Viola at first I didn’t like it but Viola grew on me as character, however I do agree that she doesnt need to be the next Bayonetta and that there is still so much to discover with Cereza and its such a miss that we dont get to dive into it. I hope if we’re gonna get a 4th game then we should explore more of Cereza’s relationship other than the umbra sages more about the lumen sages other them being antagonists because thats also part of Cereza and I wish we had a good blend of both the umbran witches and the lumen sages. I hope we get Viola go through Cerezas past and grow as a character from learning from it making a distinct identity by accepting that part of their blood line

Viola is honestly good as her own character, but I don’t think they should have set her up as the “next” Bayonetta when she acts nothing like her, nor embrace herself like Bayonetta does

I really like Viola. As much as a mess B3 was, I really liked her as a character. One thing that annoys me though is that there was NO reason to call her Bayonetta. It’s not a title 😭 and her mother didn’t need to pass it down lmao. Like, literally, Bayonetta is immortal…but they nerfed her and Jeanne in this game so much🙏 Viola 100% deserved better narrative wise
