You learn how to talk to contractors. You learn what clearing, grading, septic, power, and setup actually take. You learn how to sell. You learn how to manage a project. That’s not wasted time. If things get harder, I’d rather know how to solve real housing problems than sit around waiting for the market to get better. People still need somewhere to live.
