To all the girls who are missing someone: feel your feelings, but i beg of you all to not act on them. Learning to sit with discomfort but not to dwell in it will take you a very long way, so cry it out, take time alone, step back, feel what you must. Adapt to their absence the same way you adapted to their disrespect for the sake of love. Even if they miss you, please do not act on "what could be" but focus on what was and the impact it had on you. Choosing yourself hurts, but so does going back to what doesn't serve you. Only one of them will result into healing, the other will leave you in a constant loop of pain.
