My mom is an alcoholic, and has been for over 15 years now. I don’t remember her sober and I don’t think I will ever know her sober again. I love hearing stories like these, thinking about everything your kids are better off for because you recognized the problem and put in the work to be/stay sober. ❤️You’re an amazing mom!

You should be extremely proud of yourself. It is the worst addiction. My dad has just passed away from alcoholism, his funeral is on your birthday. Remember to be kind to yourself, don’t dwell on your past, look at your future that you might not have had. Enjoy every day ❤️
