I have that exact same problem with cruises. A bunch of people I know want me to go on a cruise. Just no.. it's the fact that I can't say, alright I'm over it, I'm going home, at any point I want. I don't even like having to ride somewhere with someone, I'd rather drive my truck and whoever else drive their vehicle completely separately than relinquish control over to another individual.

I flew twice (once to Nashville, and back from Nashville). I’m glad I did it but I’d rather drive than fly if I had the option. I like to be in control of the vehicle I’m in.

That's crazy. I couldn't imagine having money and being limited where I could travel be as far as I was willing to drive in a car. I guess you could hire a professional driver in a luxury van, but still.

Same. I feel this. I hate flying period. The ONLY things in my carry-on are a pair of headphones and a TON of anxiety medication to just ZONE TF out since I don’t drink anymore. I pop a couple Valium and beta blockers like an hour before my flight and just go night night watching my in-flight movie. I Also ALWAYS get an exit row. So my feet can stretch out. And I don’t feel confined.
