What does it usually mean when a avoidant after three weeks of leaving wants to now be a friend and is there and can tell the connection has something there and how do I as a pursuer try to build in that further connection?

I’m anxious and I’ve dated an avoidant for 1.5 years. And I’ve never reached the exhausted standpoint. At least not exhausted enough to walk away. I hope and pray daily I’d turn avoidant and leave.

The more I’m learning the more I realize that I have become more aware of being a dismissive avoidance type person- however this gives me hope that it may not be the case. How do you work back though and can you skip over being anxious??????
