I got sleep paralysis so frequently in my early twenties that I figured out how to use it as a launch pad for astral projection. Now I get it about once a month or so. And yeah there's weird sounds more than visuals. I've heard the electrical sounds you describe, voices (but I can't understand most of what's being said), sometimes I'll hear growling. Once I saw the shadow of a large black dog on my wall and it barked at me. The room always has a weird sort of "dreamy" atmosphere to it too, like the air is thick or something.

Only ever had sleep paralysis once and it shit the life outta me 😩 Someone whispering my name in my ear and at the same time I heard a little girl laughing outside my bedroom window, it was like 3am! Scary AF

Yeah, she’s fun. Last year in my dreams, I started seeing a bird with like a woman’s face, staring at me pointedly. It was like the bird’s face was not really a woman, but I saw the face behind the face. And she kept up showing in my subconscious. Eventually found out that it was the Morrigan, and she was preparing me for a major upheaval.

Everytime I have dreams like that I call lady hecate and she pulls me out of it but the energys always get really mad and start attacking me after I do that but then I wake up seconds later
