Also when some plants just refuse to thrive in any given year, I’ve learned to just accept it and move on to the next. I feel like those are my sacrificial plants so that the others flourish.

I planted 60 San Marzano tomato plants from seed, got them half tied up, then we got an absolute MONSOON of a storm for a few days and I couldn't even walk between em without KO'ing a buncha sucker limbs. 120 pints of pasta sauce and 20 culled plants later, I'M STILL PICKING TOMATOES 😂😭

I tried the 3 sisters this year too! All I can say is electroculture. Lol. Sky high by the 4th of July? 🤣 🤷♀️You can’t see the top of the corn, but the tassel’s are at least 12ft high! My husband planted about 45 I think, tied twine around the outside (they were shading the garden everywhere bc they are huge) & the beans are everywhere. Lol. Idk why we needed this much corn, but guess I’m going to can some this year! 😊 The beans in there were all volunteers that came up with the corn, nice coincidence. Lol The squash was just a wee lil thing, until it wasn’t. I have no idea what will happen in the middle of that jungle yet... I’m wondering if the squash will climb too?? Anyway, cool experiment! 💚

I wish I could grow peppers! We have a hydroponic system, and they just will not grow in the hydroponic system, but cucumbers and tomatoes do amazing
