Something Real
Something real—do you know reality, or only what you were told?
What is real to you when the body turns cold?
They say death comes five ways: natural, accident, suicide,
homicide, undetermined—when the facts still hide.
Medicine says brain-dead, clinical-dead, gone from the eyes.
Then life breaks down in stages: social, psychological, physiological ties.
I know psychological death because I lived that black screen.
Three months in a coma—eighteen years old, wiped clean.
Alt, control, delete—my old world disappeared.
I woke up like a newborn, breathing through fear.
Everything you see today, I relearned from the floor.
Walking, talking, thinking, feeling—then learning even more.
Twenty years of healing taught me pain has a voice.
It also taught me truth is not always a choice.
Lots of what we learned was a lie in disguise.
A costume called belief, sold right before our eyes.
I wear a cross on my back, not chains on my mind.
Two weeks from the day my life got left behind.
So I stand here and say, fuck religion, but not the Christ.
The story of Jesus is true when you find him inside.
You are I, as I am you—one breath, one flame.
One consciousness, one life, one love, one name.
Christ consciousness, omega consciousness, creator in motion.
I build my world with scars, spirit, discipline, devotion.
I am the engineer of my life—now who the fuck are you?
