Yepppp. We have a 9 months old son, and my in laws wanted to take him to the pool. We said no, he’s never been and we wanna be there for the first time, it’s a new experience. But after that, they can absolutely take him without us, it’s fine. But not the first time. They threw a fit saying that they’re gonna do it anyway, behind our backs and simply not tell us. We told them no and that they’re not gonna watch our son anymore without us being present, if we can’t trust them to respect boundaries. Didn’t talk for a month, and my MIL recently texted us saying that we didn’t need to apologize to them and that they’re forgive us for our behaviour. What????
