As someone who survived PPD… please break the door down. Call her OB immediately and get professionals involved. I know this is so hard for you to see & deal with as well, but it very well could be life or death.

as someone who had a baby young and experienced PPD for two years afterwards, you need to call her OB immediately and break that door down. if she's not willing to open the door, then you need to call 911 and have her transported to the hospital for an evaluation. PPD is a very dark place to be and the spiral is fast. please get her HELP ASAP
