🥢 Homemade Chinese Sweet and Sour Sauce 🍯 Ingredients: • 1/2 cup rice vinegar (or white vinegar) • 1/2 cup sugar • 1/3 cup ketchup • 2 tablespoons soy sauce • 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional) • 1 tablespoon cornstarch • 1/2 cup water — 👩‍🍳 Directions: 1️⃣ In a saucepan, combine the vinegar, sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, and ginger. Mix well. 2️⃣ In a separate cup, dissolve the cornstarch in the water. 3️⃣ Add the cornstarch mixture to the pan and cook over medium heat. 4️⃣ Stir constantly until it boils and thickens (about 5 minutes). 5️⃣ When it has a shiny and slightly thick consistency, remove from heat.
