How could the parents allow her to drive even ONE MILE if she supposedly has a "condition" (POTS) that allows her to just randomly faint? If that's the defense, it's incumbant on the parents to NOT give her access to a car and HER to not drive because of the possibility of "fainting" behind the wheel. So, three adults and NOT ONE thought it was dangerous for her to drive with such an unpredictable "illness"? To my mind, that blows "accident" right out of the water, leaving only murder. THREE adults and possibly the boyfriend as well should have KNOWN it was a bad idea to drive.
