I saw a guy order a burger in Spain and they gave him what could generously be called a slider and he paid over $10 for it. Things over here don't seem that large and seem ridiculously expensive because of it, and yet I have learned recently that McDonald's ice cream in other countries is the same price or higher, but much smaller. They're paying the same prices as us for a lot of things in a lot of places, but they're getting half of the content. I would get more for a meal from a Denny's than I would at a family owned restaurant in Britain.
